It’s awful when you realise just how common this kind of thing (exhibitionism) is… The majority of me and my female friends have been the victims of this kind of incident – flashing, masturbation, general sexual intimidation.
I remember one incident when I was about 15… I was with a group of friends on a train between London and Kent where we lived. It wasn’t until we got off the train that one of my friends explained that there was a man sitting a few rows behind, but on the opposite side, who was touching himself and looking at her/us. Even though we were in a group, at 15 she didn’t feel confident enough to do or say anything.
If this happened to me now (at 24) and I was with a group of people, I’d like to think I would react… but it’s easier said than done.

COMMENT:
There is so much bullshit associated with this subject that it is hardly surprising that flashers do not get a fair go…
Firstly, Elizabeth, I hope you are not calling exhibitionism “general sexual intimidation”!!!
Because if you are, then most women, who are born exhibitionists, would be guilty of sexual intimidation!
Or do I detect a double standard, that makes it OK for women, and not for men!!
And…
you say that is common…
yet by the sounds of it you have never been flashed in your adult life…
now that you are 24 you think you would react
but you don’t know…because you have not been flashed as an adult
Wakey, wakey, Elizabeth
take your hand off your pussy before you start condemning and making (false) accusations!
